Job Description
We are seeking reliable and professional Armed OR Unarmed Security Officers to join our team. This role is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients, their property, and all individuals on-site. Whether on foot or in a patrol vehicle, you will serve as a visible deterrent to illegal and inappropriate actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols and monitor premises to ensure a safe and secure environment
- Enforce company policies by controlling access and monitoring entry and exit of employees, visitors, and vehicles
- Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, documenting all relevant details
- Detain trespassers or violators as needed until authorities arrive
- Monitor surveillance equipment to detect and deter suspicious or criminal behavior
- Operate communication devices (e.g., two-way radios) professionally
- Administer basic first aid or CPR if necessary
- Operate patrol vehicle for site surveillance when applicable
- Test and operate security systems, including X-ray machines and metal detectors (as required)
- Write clear and accurate reports on daily activities and any incidents
Requirements
- Valid Security License (Armed or Unarmed, depending on role)
- Valid Driver’s License
- English language proficiency (spoken and written)
- Ability to remain calm, alert, and professional under pressure
- Flexible availability for various shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
